ORIGINAL SIN - Packaging Design
Trapped Spirit, a premium alcohol manufacturer, needed a package design for their new product, Original Sin. They chose Metal Box for this project due to our reputation for creating visually stunning and innovative package designs.
We approached the design of the Original Sin package by drawing inspiration from the story of Adam & Eve. In the story the serpent symbolize temptation, seduction, and the allure of forbidden fruit. We wanted to create a design that was both visually striking and alluring, capturing the essence of the Original Sin.
One of the challenges they faced was finding the right balance between the metallic gold foil and the scales. We experimented with different finishes and placements until we found the perfect combination.
Apple
The use of the apple as a stopper for the bottle is a brilliant and symbolic touch to the design. It not only adds a unique and memorable feature to the bottle but also ties in perfectly with the story of Adam & Eve and the symbolism of the forbidden fruit. The stopper replicating Eve pulling the apple off the tree is a clever nod to the story and adds another layer of meaning to the design. Overall, this detail adds to the allure and appeal of the Original Sin package design.

SLITHER
The final package design for Original Sin features a sleek, modern bottle with a unique shape that mimics the curves of a serpent's body. The bottle is made of high-quality glass and has a smooth finish. The serpent's scales are embossed on the bottle, creating a three-dimensional effect. The contrast between the scales and the metallic gold foil creates a luxurious and alluring design that is sure to stand out on the shelves.
